How a job runs

Artwork to despatch

The sequence every job follows, whether it is a hundred thousand ampoule labels or a pallet of corrugated cases.

01

Artwork

You send the design. Our packaging engineers check it against the pack, the substrate and the regulatory copy before anything is committed.

02

Prepress & proof

Colour separation, trapping and die layout. You approve a proof against the actual die line, not a screen mock-up.

03

Tooling

Plates, cylinders and cutting dies are made to the approved proof and held on record for the repeat.

04

Print

Run on the press best suited to the job, with in-line colour control through the run.

05

Converting

Foiling, varnishing, die-cutting, laminating, pasting and rewinding to the winding direction you specify.

06

Inspection

Advanced vision inspection, barcode and 2D code verification, and the physical tests the substrate calls for.

07

Despatch

Packed, labelled and despatched on time in full.

Quality systems

A label that fails on the line is more expensive than the label.

So material is checked coming in, in process and going out. Rewinding machines carry 100% automatic control, and an advanced vision inspection system reads what a person at speed cannot.

  • Exhaustive checking procedures for incoming material, in-process material and outgoing material
  • 100% automatic control available on rewinding machines
  • Scuff tester, peel tester and colour measurement capabilities
  • Accelerated ageing
  • Barcode and 2D code verification

Markets we cover

Packaging for regulated and retail products

Each of these sectors asks something different of a pack. The substrate and the finish follow from that, not from a catalogue.

Pharmaceuticals

Ampoule, vial, insulin and small-die labels, and folding cartons for secondary packaging.

Food & Beverages

Clear film and no-look labels for bottles and jars, frozen-food stocks that hold adhesion at low temperature, and cartons and corrugated cases for transit.

Personal Care

Metalised and tactile-effect labels, cold and hot foil finishes, and shrink sleeves for contoured packs where shelf presence carries the brand.

Home Care

PE labels that flex with squeezable packs, peel-and-read constructions where the directions will not fit on one panel, and durable stocks for packs stored under a sink.

Lubricants

Labels and cartons built for oil, grease and solvent contact, and print that survives handling in a workshop rather than a shelf.

Agro Chemicals

Multi-language regulatory copy, hazard marking and peel-and-read booklets, on stocks specified for outdoor storage and chemical exposure.

Why Amorflex

What you actually get

Customised solutions

Every business has a pack its product actually needs. From a standard carton to a complex die-cut, the structure is tailored to the product, the brand and the budget — not pulled off a standing list.

High-quality materials

Premium, eco-friendly corrugated board and film and paper stocks chosen for the job: strength where the pack is handled, durability where it is stored, and recyclability where your ESG reporting needs it.

Advanced manufacturing, on-time delivery

State-of-the-art equipment and automated processes hold precise dimensions and consistent colour, and shorten turnaround. Time-sensitive shipments are treated as the priority they are.

Cost efficiency and sustainability

Streamlined operations, bulk capability and an in-house design team bring the cost down without taking the quality with it, while recyclable materials keep the waste down too.

Send us the artwork. We will send back a proof.

Tell us the product, the run length and the substrate you have in mind. If you are not sure of the substrate, describe the pack and we will specify it.
