Most print defects are not created at the press. They are created by a substrate that was already wrong, an ink system that does not key to it, or a wind direction that does not match the applicator. So material is checked at all three stages, not only at the end.

On the line
An advanced vision inspection system reads the web at running speed and flags what a person checking a sample never would — a dropped character in one repeat, a missing 2D code, a colour drift building across a reel.
Barcodes and 2D codes are verified, not just printed. A code that scans in the plant and fails at the distributor is a recall risk, and verification is what separates the two.
Adhesive and ink are aged under controlled conditions to show what the label will look like at the end of its shelf life, rather than on the day it was applied.
Brand colour is measured against a reference, not judged by eye, so the repeat six months from now matches the run approved today — across film, board and corrugated alike.
